If you want to estimate the risks of using drugs, you need knowledge. And knowledge from books is not enough. Regular education explains about different drugs, but doesn't let you experience the sensory effects.
That's why Ranj has developed a game combining information about addictive drugs with a simulation of the perception of drugs.
Serious health game
Divo’s Buzz is a serious health game for children, teenagers and educators. Players choose between several quizzes about drugs or an image/description matching game. The negative influences of drugs and alcohol are shown in feedback animations of show master Divo.
Once a matching game or quiz has been completed, a reaction game is unlocked. In this game, Divo tries to make his way home from the disco. He passes dealers and 'friends' offering him various kinds of drugs. If players decide to use the drugs, Divo immediately experiences their side effects. The more drugs he takes, the more intense they get - and the harder it becomes to successfully finish the game.
