Behavioural change

Behavioural change is a special form of learning, for which understanding and insight are essential ingredients.
Small improvements in behaviour can have enormous effects. If the body weight of the average person in The Netherlands can be brought down with just one per mille, this will have phenomenal impact on public health and the costs associated with diseases such as obesity, diabetes and heart failure.

Self-management

Because of the increasingly aging population, pressure on health care is rising exponentially. In order to avoid a third of the workforce soon having to work as care providers, radically different solutions have to be found.
A greater degree of self-management will be necessary and in this, serious games can play a crucial role.
